Multiple Document Interface |
This program supports the Microsoft Windows Multiple Document Interface
standard also known by the abbreviation MDI. As a multiple document
interface, this program allows you to open a number of different
documents (in our case diagrams) simultaneously in different windows
and to open multiple windows that view different parts of the same
document. The MDI model is very powerful for working with several
diagrams at once or for managing large or complex diagrams.

Whenever you create a new diagram or open an existing diagram as
described in this chapter, this program will create a new window
from which to view the diagram. You can have several such windows
at a time. You can also create additional views of loaded diagrams
and use the window arrangement commands to minimize, maximize,
cascade, and tile all of the windows.
